Parking and Directions

Bethlehem is easily accessible by car, bus and plane. We are only 1.5 hours from New York City, and Philadelphia. We recommend you begin your visit at the Historic Bethlehem Visitor Center.

Parking in downtown Bethlehem: Public Parking is available in two convenient garages at North Street and Walnut Street. Meter parking is also available on numerous, nearby side streets.

Directions from the Poconos and points north:

Take Route 33 South to Route 22 West to Route 378 South to Exit #3 (Center City). From the stop sign at the top of the exit, make a left onto 3rd Avenue. From the stop light at the upcoming intersection, make a left onto Broad Street. Then make a right onto Main Street. The Visitor Center will be on your right at 505 Main Street.

From Harrisburg and points west:

Take Route 78 East to Route 22 East to Route 378 South to Exit #3 (Center City). From the stop sign at the top of the exit, make a left onto 3rd Avenue. From the stop light at the upcoming intersection, make a left onto Broad Street. Then make a right onto Main Street. The Visitor Center will be on your right at 505 Main Street.

From New Jersey, New York and points east:

Take Route 78 West to Route 22 West to Route 378 South to Exit #3 (Center City). From the stop sign at the top of the exit, make a left onto 3rd Avenue. From the stop light at the upcoming intersection, make a left onto Broad Street. Then make a right onto Main Street. The Visitor Center will be on your right at 505 Main Street.

From Philadelphia and points south:

Take Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike to Exit #33 (Lehigh Valley) to Route 22 East to Route 378 South to Exit #3 (Center City). From the stop sign at the top of the exit, make a left onto 3rd Avenue. From the stop light at the upcoming intersection, make a left onto Broad Street. OR Take Route 309 North to Route 378 North to the Main Street Ramp Exit. At the stoplight make a left onto Main Street. The Visitor Center will be on your left at 505 Main Street.
