A Century at Burnside Plantation - Burnside Plantation Enjoy the beautiful plantation, known as the "farm in the city" while you discover what day to day life was like on an early Bethlehem farm. This well-rounded program includes many activity stations such as a visit into the farm house, the barn and horsepower wheel. (Watch the wheel in action!) Descriptions of early farm economy and colonial foodways are also included!

Sensing the Colonial World - Burnside Plantation Engage special needs students in a historic sensory experience. A basic introduction to James Burnside, his plantation, and colonial Moravian farm life in early Bethlehem is presented. Colorful story boards enhance active learning that includes touching, smelling, hearing, tasting, and seeing. Individuals will plant a seed to take long with them and will also receive a coloring book.

Reservations are required for all programs 3 weeks in advance. A $25 per day, per site non-refundable deposit is required for all on-site bookings. Your visit date is confirmed only when your deposit has been received.
