Discover what life was like on a colonial farm!
Homeschooled students are invited to spend a special day at Historic Bethlehem's "farm in the city."
Join Historic Bethlehem's certified museum teachers at the 6.5 acre Burnside Plantation for a day of hands-on learning and discovery. The 3 hour program includes a visit to the colonial house, a barn-raising adventure, fun on the country's only operational high horsepower wheel, making cookies and authentic Colonial Hot Chocolate in the summer in the summer kitchen! Taste the sweet treats of the season! Friday, November 1, 10:00 until 12:00
Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch and enjoy an afternoon picnic on the farm with other homeschooled students after the program concludes.
