Morning Call: Falling for Fall Decor: Local female entrepreneurs show us how to easily embrace the ‘itch to switch’

As soon as the first drift of chilly air makes its way through the Lehigh Valley, many of us are ready to decorate our homes for the fall season. Some of us start in early September to take advantage of having the colors up for at least a few months – and why not?

There are limitless ways to fill your home with all things pumpkin, gourd and fall foliage, which have always been popular elements that serve as inspiration. But as we’ve seen DIY, upcycled, and farmhouse chic become popular in the last few years, the world of fall décor has expanded to just about “anything goes” – and most of it can be done on a dime.

Four of the area’s female entrepreneurs have filled the 1810 Goundie House in Bethlehem with décor that they have personally put together in order to show us how to get the coziest looks in our homes in simple and inexpensive ways.
