The Communications and Public Relations Intern position is designed for individuals interested in obtaining on-the-job, real-world experience in marketing, communications and media relations. This position includes drafting press releases; writing copy for the website, marketing materials and promotional pieces; working with local media; media research and much more. A fast-paced internship, the position is best-suited for students in their Junior or Senior year of college majoring in Journalism, Communications or Marketing. A successful applicant will be able to demonstrate strong writing skills across multiple styles. Photography or video skills are a plus.
