Morning Call: Wanted: Contestants with Crazy Good Blueberry Dessert Recipes

Heads up Lehigh Valley bakers: It’s time to bust out those blueberry dessert recipes.
The 31st annual Blueberry Festival, which is July 21 and 22 at Bethlehem’s Burnside Plantation, is looking for adult and child bakers to compete in its annual culinary contest.
Here’s how it works:
- What type of dessert? All types of desserts are welcome, from double crust pies and cakes, to brownies, Swiss rolls and cookies. There’s an important rule, however: Each recipe must use a minimum of 1 cup of fresh blueberries. Bakers must be amateurs only.
