Tour Stop at the Smithy Overview
Explore the age-old craftsmanship of blacksmithing with your family when you stop by the 1750 Smithy (at 1 Ohio Rd, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) Fridays through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit this special historic attraction and learn about the impressive skills used by the Moravian blacksmiths, who created useful tools, weapons, and household items.
See the forges, locksmiths, and gunstocks made right in front of your eyes and take home a unique piece of history!
PLEASE NOTE: Our museums are closed the weekend of Sept. 16-17 due to Apple Days Festival. Join us for this special event at Burnside for farm tours, Colonial demonstrations, and family activities.
