The holiday season officially kicks off this weekend with retail madness and Christmas tree lightings. But truth be told, many holiday events already are under way. Christkindlmarkt, ArtsQuest’s annual German-style holiday market, opened last weekend, as did the Lehigh Valley Zoo’s spectacular holiday light display. Santa is already settled in at the Lehigh Valley Mall.
