From the reopening of the historic Grist Miller’s House in spring through the start of construction on the Overlook on History this fall, 2025 has been a year filled with milestones and historic accomplishments. All of it was made possible thanks to the generosity of our patrons, members, sponsors and donors.
Every time you stroll through the Colonial Industrial Quarter, attend a festival or explore one of our museums, you are experiencing the direct impact of your generosity. Because of you, Bethlehem’s historic places are alive engaging visitors and inspiring new generations.
As we look toward 2026, the generosity of our supporters is more essential than ever. Your support helps HBMS preserve irreplaceable historic structures, expand educational opportunities for all ages and share Bethlehem’s history with tens of thousands of visitors annually.
In 2026 your support will help us:
- Complete the Overlook on History, a dynamic, new educational space for students and visitors.
- Expand interpretation and programming at the 1762 Waterworks, Grist Miller’s House, Kemerer Museum and 16 other historic sites.
- Develop engaging exhibitions and hands-on programs that connect our community through shared history.
- Finalize critical water mitigation work at the 1761 Tannery, protecting a globally significant site that’s part of the Moravian Church Settlements-Bethlehem World Heritage Site.
