The majority of our historic sites are within walking distance from the Visitor Center and many of our tours meet and begin there as well.
The Visitor Center and Museum Gift Shop was the original emporium of dry goods built for and operated by the son-in-law of Johann Sebastian Goundie.
Adjacent to the Visitor Center is the 1810 Goundie House.
