Get crafty at Schropp Dry Goods Shoppe. Local fiber artist Sandy Kuder will be on hand to demo her star applique towels — and you’re welcome to design your own, choosing from her selection of fabrics and patterns. Finished pieces can be picked up in store or shipped for an additional fee. Stop in to watch, create, and take home a handmade gift worth giving.
Sandy Kuder has been sewing since childhood, learning the craft from her mother and crocheting from her grandmothers. A lifelong member of West Side Moravian Church, she’s been a part of the Schropp Dry Goods Shoppe community since the very beginning. Her signature Moravian star appliqué tea towels — designed at the shop’s request — have become one of its most beloved items.
Event is free to attend, but it is recommended to register in advance.
