Event Overview
Welcome runners and walkers to the 2023 Historic Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Walk (Saturday, Nov. 25), where you’ll have a fabulous experience seeing the sights of Bethlehem’s beautiful downtown and historic district. Join us for a festive morning of exercise and exploration in a one-of-a-kind setting. We look forward to seeing you there!

Race Details
- When: Saturday, November 25 at 9:00 am
- Where: Luckenbach Mill, 459 Old York Road, Bethlehem, PA
- How much: $40 registration before race day; $45 on November 25
- Parking: The Spring Street lot will be open until 8:30 am. and will reopen for cars to exit at 10:00 a.m. If you park in this lot you will not be able to leave until 10:00 am.

- 8:45 am National Anthem performed by the Liberty High School Hurriquettes
- 9:00 am Runners Start
- 9:05 am Competitive Walkers Start
- 9:10 am Fun Walkers Start
All Registered Participants Receive
- Turkey Trot T-shirt
- FREE refreshments
- FREE admission to Trees of Historic Bethlehem with the race t-shirt or bib all weekend
- FREE admission to the Holiday Dinner Art Exhibition at the Luckenbach Mill during pick-up on Saturday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am
Best Pet Costume Contest
Do you or your pup have the best holiday costume in town? Turkey Trot registrants can register their dog for the Best Pet Costume Contest held the day of the race at 8:30 am!
Registration for the contest is FREE; however, participants must also be registered for one of the Turkey Trot categories.
Costumes judged on:
- Creativity (new)
- Best Pup / Handler Duo (new)
- Best Turkey Trot-related theme
Pet costume contest prizes will be sponsored by Saint Rocco’s Treats
Volunteer
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, we are able to host engaging and successful events that preserve Bethlehem’s centuries-old history and its 20 historic sites. Volunteering can also be a great way to get friends and family involved in HBMS, even if they don’t want to compete in the Run or Walk.
